As AutoMate, we are aware of the impact of climate change. Climate change will affect us and future generations. We see our cooperation with carbon-connect AG as a small step towards counteracting the emission of greenhouse gases with compensation measures.

With each annual premium, we offer you the opportunity to conpensate the CO2 emissions of your vehicle.

Our project / Together with the local population

What particularly impressed us was that the local population could be involved in the monitoring and realisation of this project and is being trained accordingly.

The tropical rainforest can absorb twice as much CO2 as the European forest. One hectare (10,000 m2) accumulates 122 tonnes of biomass in the first 20 years. This corresponds to a CO2 reduction of 202 tonnes in 20 years or about 200 kilogrammes of CO2 per tree. Per year, 1 hectare of forest thus absorbs around 10 tonnes of CO2.
